English design house Dunhill, under the new innovative chief John Ray, is propelling another aroma for men in mid 2015. The scent is named Icon, made by perfumer Carlos Benaim, who depicts it:
“Symbol is the ideal articulation of characteristic refinement, an interpretation of the sumptuous and exemplary legacy of the Dunhill house, with, also, a touch of advancement …. The man who will wear Icon is a manly and refined noble man.”
The structure is fragrant woody with an opening of new bergamot and neroli supreme. Its heart incorporates fiery and sweet-smelling notes of dark pepper, lavender and cardamom, inclining toward a woody base of smoky oud, vetiver, calfskin and oak greenery.
